Sports Enrichment Observation

What did they do?
Trampolining

How did the teacher act?
Miss Miveld demonstrates various techniques on the trampoline.
She encourages them to take risks and gives tips to the students.
So the students have a clear understanding, she works through the techniques step by step.
She arranges the two trampolines into different abilities. For instance one of the trampolines focuses on the much more complex techniques. However the other focuses on the easier techniques.

How the students act?
While taking part in the activity the students support each other and encourage each other to do their best.
Students are also really confident and attempt each activity even if it means stepping out of thier comfort zone.

Us Wren students love to take risks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

7) What is Wren Academy's most valuable lesson taught in Religious Education?
Learning about other faiths and how to respect them. Also having open discussions.

8) What other subjects would you teach?
History

Phew! 25% Over and Done with...for some!

How was it? Easy-Peasy? Okay? Difficult? Stressful?
How do you feel? Stressed? Pleased? Relieved?
The Year 10 Core Science students completed 25% of their Core Science GCSE today. We all could feel the tension and the nerves this morning as we lined up to go in to the examination hall. Some prayed, some panicked and some laughed. The exam had 60 marks in total and we had 60 minutes- a minute a mark- how were we going to do it? As soon as Miss Campbell said 'You may begin', we took a deep breath and began, hoping that luck was on our side today. Our pens were racing against time whilst all we could hear is the scribbling, paper turning and our hearts beating! Personally, I think the tense atmosphere made us even more nervous. But overall most think that it went well.
Well, there's nothing we can do now, but that was just the beginning. We have many more to come, but until then, Good Luck!

Girls football match

Today after school there will be a year 7 and  8 football match against Ashmole Academy at home. It will be a tough match but hopefully we will win!

Dance in P.E

This week in P.E. Year 8 we have started a new topic called dance. At the moment we are making up three dance moves and then finding out ways to get from each of the dance moves but by making links to get to the corect position.
